What we collect and why
Contact form and emails. Your name, email address and message, used only to reply to you and to arrange bookings. Messages arrive in our Gmail inbox.
Newsletter. If you join "Letters from the Studio", your first name and email address are stored with Kit (ConvertKit), our email provider, so we can send you occasional letters. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Bookings and payments. When you pay for a course, term or masterclass, the payment is handled by our payment provider (SumUp). We receive your name, email and what you booked, never your card details.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how people find us. It uses cookies. You can block these in your browser settings.
Legal basis
We reply to messages and run bookings because you ask us to (contract and legitimate interests). We send the newsletter because you signed up (consent), and you can withdraw that at any time.
How long we keep it
Emails and booking records: up to two years after your last contact or class, then deleted. Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.
Sharing
We never sell your data. It is only processed by the services named above (Google, Kit, SumUp), some of which store data outside the UK under standard safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
