The pursuit of better figurative drawing skills is worthwhile.

Whether you work with oil paints, digital art, or any wet or dry medium, DRAWING forms the foundation upon which your artistic abilities are built. While individuals may possess varying levels of natural talent, the refinement and mastery of drawing require dedicated time, effort, and perseverance. Patience, too, is essential, as this journey can evolve into a passionate pursuit.

Most man made creations begin with a drawing, a blueprint, a design—more than just words, it is a visual language capable of conveying depths beyond mere verbal expression. It has the ability to unlock unseen realms of ideas, fantasies, plans, feelings, and emotions; it is, in many ways, magical.

Whether you're beginning your artistic journey or refining advanced techniques, our life drawing classes in Milton Keynes offer the perfect environment for artistic growth. Start drawing from life today!

Portrait Drawing

Beginning on the 2nd of June weekly afterwards

These life drawing sessions concentrate on portraits, focusing on the face as our most expressive feature. We will pose the model for 25-minute stretches, but you’re welcome to change its angle. Feel free to paint too.

Tuesday

Contemporary Life Drawing

Beginning on the 3rd of June weekly afterwards

19:00 – 21:00

This class caters to artists who enjoy shorter poses and gesture drawing to spark ideas for artwork created at home or in the studio. Reference photos are not only welcomed but also encouraged.  Music sets the tone, and the performance incorporates a staged approach with partial costumes and props, or whatever elements the model introduces. The dynamic poses are shorter, making them perfect for abstract interpretations too. These sessions are led by Murray, who has an animation background.

Sunday
